Who is CBCInnovis?
CBCInnovis provides credit information from the Nationwide Consumer Reporting Agencies (NCRA), Experian, Equifax and TransUnion, to it's clients. CBCInnovis' clients are primarily banks, mortgage companies and other lending institutions and have a permissible purpose under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) to obtain credit information for lending purposes. CBCInnovis does not maintain a database of consumer information.
Why does CBCInnovis show up as an inquiry on my consumer report?
When a CBCInnovis client requests a copy of your consumer report through our system, the inquiry may display as CBCInnovis. If you would like to know the name of our client that requested a copy of your consumer report, please contact us.
How do I obtain a copy of my consumer report from CBCInnovis?
If a CBCInnovis client requested a copy of your consumer report through our system and you would like a copy of it, please contact us by fax, mail or phone. For the most up-to-date version of your consumer report, please contact the NCRA(s) directly or go to www.annualcreditreport.com.
How do I dispute inaccurate or incomplete information on my consumer report from CBCInnovis?
If a CBCInnovis client requested a copy of your consumer report through our system and there is inaccurate or incomplete information appearing on it, you can dispute that information by contacting us via fax, mail or phone.
Can I dispute my credit score?
Credit scores are produced by the Fair Isaac Corporation (FICO) and are based off of information that appears on your consumer report, such as amounts owed, length of credit history, new credit, payment history, types of credit used, types of inquiries and public record information. Although you cannot dispute a credit score specifically, you can dispute inaccurate or incomplete information that is appearing on your consumer report. Can CBCInnovis Consumer Assistance explain why I was denied credit?
No. CBCInnovis does not make lending decisions. For specific questions regarding a lending decision, please contact your lending institution. To obtain a copy of your CBCInnovis Consumer Report, please contact us by fax, mail or phone.
